For the past fifteen years Ivy After School has been taking care of Quincy's children while their parents are at work. Now, we are responding to these difficult times with additional hours and services to make sure your kids are safe and learning.

About Us
Schedule and Licensing
To help parents, we maintain hours that complement the Quincy Public Schools schedule. We open at 2:00 pm weekdays, but open early on Wednesdays.
We close at 6 pm every day.
In summer and on school vacation weeks, we open for full days.
Ivy After School is fully licensed by
the Massachusetts Department
of Early Education and Care
for an enrollment of 104 children.

Homework, Practice, Safety
We understand that parents sometimes don't have the skill or the time to help their kids with homework. Our staff makes sure your child's homework is done and checked every afternoon. If your children are struggling with the work, we take the time one-on-one to help them understand it. And we provide practice sessions and pop-up classes to reinforce what they learn at their elementary school.
Summers and Vacations
It's Not All about Learning
All summer and during school vacation weeks, Ivy After School welcomes kids full days for lots of activities and outdoor fun mixed with a healthy dose of academics. We play all morning and learn in the afternoon. Whether it's athletic competition in the field, trips to Boston events, or just learning to sing, we keep the kids engaged and happy.

​Our first priority is always the health and safety of the kids we care for. Our staff is made up of responsible, local people, fully vetted and trained. They teach, but they also really care for kids.​
​Every family has special concerns. We keep in touch with parents and are always available to discuss your children's issues or when special needs arise.
